You probably saw me on Fox the other night with a sign in my hands...OK maybe not.
But I did attend a tea party in my small West Texas town, and I loved seeing the spirit out there.
My boss is really up to date on everything that happens in the news and is a staunch conservative. In support of the tea parties across America, he decided to make all the sweet tea sold at our restaurant free of charge. They were TAX FREE.
My boss tried to get me to write a newspaper article on his offer. I wanted to, just because of the unique slant, but I couldn't because of the conflict of interests that would pose. Oh well....
I talked my boss into letting me take about 80 coupons telling about our offer to the tea party...they lasted about 10 minutes! It was funny seeing the Obama supporters on the other side of the courthouse lawn. We outnumbered them 100 to 1.

We went to the one in Madison. One of the news channels had predicted about 100 people would be there....8,000+ showed up! It was really cool seeing all the people who agree with at least some of our views.

Love the sign she made (LOL)!
I can say it was a great feeling here in Texas too!
I personally liked a sign someone put on their dog. I heard about it. The owner put a sign on it that said, "I didn't read the bill either."
