My dad's in the military. According to the laws of the military, we will be moving sometime next summer. Where we're going is still a mystery, but move we will. I'll be 18 when we move, which means I'll have the option of not going with the family.
Call me a cutthroat, but I've let be known I will probably stay and attend a local college if the military sends us somewhere bad (like another Texas assignment).
It's kinda scary when I was looking at cars and realized there was no point to buying a vehicle till I know whether or not I'm moving.
In February, I'm attending a writers' conference, turning 18 at the conference, and I'll find out where we're moving in that same time zone.

That is sooo hard I'm sure. Hard choices. I'll pray for you! :( Just know that nomatter what happends God's hand is ALWAYS in it! He may be some comfort to you! :)
Ay. While I feel the sting of "bad (like another Texas assignment)" :p
I can understand this to a degree. You're one of the few people who's moved more than I have, and I've never moved because the military said to. I'll be praying you and your family will have God's overwhelming peace and wisdom.
College...Houston Baptist University is a good school...:p but I'm only minorly biased.
BTW I love the songs on your playlist!
It would be hard for me to stay...but I'd have to go at 14!
You're going to the Florida Christian Writers' Conference? Me too! I think I am, at least... (:D)
Wow, that is a hard choice. Moving is horrible esp. if the military decides to send your family somewhere not so good. I think if there is a college you want to go to staying in Texas is a great idea. I know the waiting to hear the assignment is the worst part.
It's kind of like sky diving, Indina. I like the songs, but I've got to change it a little. That theme song is startin' to drive me nuts!
Thanks, Edge. I've looked into that college...the tuition would probably make me morgage my brother's apartment:)
Hmm, 14. Maybe a little young, Paris:)
Sorry, Araken. I'm going to the Writing for the Soul in Colorado Springs. Wish I could go to more than one conference a year though. Is Brian Davis going to be there?
I kinda like moving every 3-4 years, and having that suspence of not knowing where I'm moving is a nice thrill. There's a chance we might move to Germany!
Depending where it is in germany I'd say go. Living in germany is a great experience esp. ifyou are at a big base.
